Mixing stems: a popular way of mixing music, even live

For mixing stems separately, you will need a Native Instruments Stem file. This file can hold up to four separate elements of your song. Most of the times, these elements are bass, drums, vocals and melody. To mix these stems, a hardware controller is used. When you subsequently play the track, you can lower or raise the volume of the four elements. This gives you the possibility to mix music, even in a live setting.

Send us the stems, your wishes and needs and some examples

Are you interested in mixing stems? Send us the stems you want to mix, then we master them and mix them back to four elements. Also, tell us what kind of sound you are looking for or send us examples. In this way, we can adjust the mastering process to your wishes and needs in the best way. Questions?
